About naomig

I have been teaching at the Fashion Institute of Technology for eleven years - hard to believe. Prior to that I was a buyer, planner, product developer, and department manager for a variety of retail organizations. In my teaching capacity, I primarily teach bachelor degree students interested in careers in buying and planning. My focus is on helping them to gain as much hands on experience in the classroom as possible so they can secure good executive track positions in industry upon graduation. In addition, I will be launching a sustainability course for fashion merchandising student in the spring 2012 semester! I am also a licensed tour guide for New York City (DCA).
